'That Feeling' is an autobiographical painting, capturing a moment with my own child. He was ill, and in that moment the depth of love I felt for him became almost frightening. The intensity of that love brought with it a profound sense of vulnerability, the feeling that my life force existed outside of my body, bound to this small, fragile being.
